Whilst continuing with freelancing as an illustrator, I develop the A-Z OF BEING A BETTER PLANET MATE which acts as a guide living with a more ecological mindset.
2018
2020
The pandemic brings some time for reflection, coupled with a sudden transition to home schooling 2 young children. I continue with my freelance work and research. I also volunteer as an urban shepherd, which is a lovely way to connect with nature/get out of the house.
2019
September sees the completion of 2 years work on my MA in Sustainable Design at the University of Brighton. My final project examines human/non-human relationships with a particular focus on land use.
2018
This year is about hard study on my masters, trying out different design research methods. Those old enough to remember 'play you cards right'

2017
Alonsgide freelance design projects, I go back to school and learn the efficacy of using speculative design to describe alternate futures, in this case re-imagining how we can use parks in a much more immersive way.
2016
Under the excellent teaching of Paul Micklethwaite at Kingston University, I re-focus my creative energies into design for social innovation. Things are never quite the same. The course culminates with a live project with a local school.
2015
2015 sees to release of the Mibo series of books as smaller board backed version for younger readers. The original books are translated into French, Italian, Swedish, German and Mandarin.
