Building on the make-them-yourself paper animals, Mibo released some dual use tea towels in 2012. The idea is that once the tea towels have had their day, they can be cut and sewn into little stuffed animals, as the animal templates are printed onto the teatowel themselves.
The teatowels were stocked widely throughout the UK inluding the National Trust and Tate Modern.
Mibo adapted the animals characters to work as sewing templates and also designed the simple packaging for them, consisting just of the simple recycled paper band. The tea towels themselves were 100% organic cotton and were printed by the UK manufacturuer, Countryside Art, based in Lincolnshire
