This is an ongoing project with French Childrenswear brand Coq en Pate. After focusing on endangered species for a number of years, the focus here is shifted to extinct species.

Mibo designed the animals and also accompanying surface prints, which grimly document elements of the weapons used by humans against these marvellously charismatic creatures. The over-hunting of the mammoth and dodo has long served as a cautionary tale but distressingly, the latest addition to the colleciton will be the Western Black Rhino, which was classed as extinct just a few years ago.
