This game is adapted from an old game called Max the Cat.  In this version, the players co-operate to outrun the threat of species extinction with the timely playing of the mitagation cards, such as the creation of wildlife corridors and the restoration of habitat.

This game is aimed at very young children. The hope is that the players are given agency to help turnaround what seems like quite a dire situation.  Real life parallels are obvious, but this game comes from a perspective of hope and action as opposed to despair. Ideally the game will be eventually be played in educational settings.
