These projects are about the tension between cultural aesthetic values around landscapes and the ecological health of those spaces. A timely exploration perhaps, as we edge away from the notion of 'tamed' and 'controlled' nature to allow the flourishing that occurs when we take a step back. From back gardens to farms, parks to roadside verges, a new aesthetic of messy wildness needs to replace older notions of control and order.  But who's ready?
